@ ktowndoug … yeah, kind of sucks if you get auto-logged-out but I just tested the link (while logged out) and it still does enter the bonus code for you as soon as you login, saving you a click and some typing! I’m glad Greg introduced this time-saving technique.

How to make a hot-link for a bonus word

In NotePad or your favourite text editor, construct the HTML tag for the time and word in the following format:

TIME <a href=”http://www.m2omedia.com/cikr/members/earn/playbc.jsp?code=XXXX” target=”_blank”>XXXX</a>
where TIME is however you wish to present the time (e.g. 9 pm) and XXXX is the word (note that you have to enter it twice — once in the href tag and again as the displayed word.

Click HTML on the upper menu bar and paste it in

Click “Update” in the lower right corner to see if it looks okay; if not, fix it!

Then submit your message. Hope this helps.

@ Yan, it seems that nobody caught the Whig code or the bonus word around 10 am and 11 am (although I was able to guess one of the missing bonus words after the fact … everybody else must have been in church when it was announced! Ha ha!).

Anyone go to Blue Rodeo last night. Good show, they did a lot of new songs.
The opening band Dustin Bentall was very good. They have been described as folky, country and rock. They have a fiddle player named Kendel Carson that was real good and not to hard on the eyes either. It won’t be long before they are the headline act. Google them and you will see what I mean.

@ helping_sis: you can make the bonus words clickable by following my tip above (if you can, please delete my 9:04pm post as that was an accident!). Also, note that the 5pm and 6pm links on the main page inaccurately point to the word “noise” so that should be fixed.

Music man I was there myself( being an employee and all) and I was VERY impressed with the opening act especially that it is not my kind of music at all. I really enjoyed a good 4 or 5 songs including the Kendel Carson song, who indeed is very easy on the eyes.

Thank you, I already knew how to do that, I just don’t do it that way. I know K-Rock knows about the blog but I personally wouldn’t want to be identified as a blogger inputting codes so quickly and I used to input my codes all at the same time and found it harder to copy and paste it and would click on the link by accident instead and errors like the 5 and 6 pm can occur as well. Feel free to do it here though.

Thanks for your comment, helping_sis. (You are probably more of an expert than me on the HTML for these sites, but just in case, I put in my two cents!)

I think whatever works for you is fine, so keep up the great work! You’re right that you have to keep on the ball regarding these hot-links, otherwise little errors can creep into the system (I even screwed up a related post, so thanks for deleting it!).
