Last day of NFL regular season (sorrow, sadness, tears) but wild card games and playoffs just around the corner. Man I don’t want to drive to Kingston this morning and back but such is the life of the parents of a college kid (and also to pick up the Wide Mouth Mason tickets).

back from our hockey games- Ladies won 5-2 (which is a pleasant way to start the New Year).
@Smerfy – my son’s classes start tomorrow so he has to be back today. Will take my favourite backroads (Jasper, Toledo, Elgin) as I hate the Gananoque stretch of the 401 with a passion. As long as I get home to watch some football I will be happy (and hopefully by then kitten will have cleared the driveway with the snowblower – wishful thinking).

Got back home safely and managed to watch the final minutes of the Pats and Steelers games. 401 was so-so (at times traffic was moving at 120 and then down to 40).

What a way to start 2010 at 37 yo January 1st to lose battle against breast cancer. Such a pretty face and a gorgeous voice, Montreal (south american) singer, Lhasa de Sela, RIP
In other news, Amy Winehouse is happy with her new breast implants and still living somewhat healthily.
