“Christmas Tour ’09″ continues later on today after noon to give the city a chance to melt. Unless conditions get better rapidly, I think most, if not all my deliveries will be in-town today. Those Air Canada customers waiting to be reunited with their errant luggage will have to wait another day.

Yesterday’s ‘Tour ’09″ included stops in Orleans – WoW!! That new Lowes is huge, is the new Empire movie theatre in addition to or in place of the current location on Centrum Blvd? Plus what happened to the Crappy…err…Canadian Tire on 10th Line Rd? Did they move or did head office shut it down? The morning edition also included a trip down the 174 past Wendover (Merry Christmas CrazyMike, again) to L’original and back to the warehouse after a brief lunch/rest break to load up for my next run.

My afternoon run took me to Hull, Cantley, Buckingham (Merry Christmas Cookie) and then to Plaisance, about 10km past Thurso. On the way back my GPS insisted on directing me to the Buckingham/Cumberland Ferry – even though I thought it closes down for the winter, like the Quyon Ferry – it doesn’t. First time I’ve ever been on that ferry and the first time I’ve been on a ferry since I was a kid and my mother would take us on the Halifax Ferry as a “treat”. Damn! that Cumberland Ferry is fast!

Finally I had a very light evening run to Chelsea, where I finished with over 400kms put on my odometer Christmas Day. I got home had a couple Turkey sandwiches and crashed until I woke up this morning about 9am…..Happy Boxing Day Peeps

Christmas was so good - 3 Christmas dinners in 4 days – ate way too much (pants too tight – need sexersize lol) drank too much and had a fantastic time with my sister, brother, nephew, niece and her family. The kids were spoiled and had a wonderful time tobogganing

Good morning everybody! Happy boxing day! Out to the garage to put all my new parts on my sled. Hope we get some snow in the near future instead of this terrible freezing rain.
@ Justme – if you need help with your sexersize, I more than willing to visit Toledo to act as your personal trainer. I think we can start with some lunges, hip flexes, and deep thrusts and then work on your gluts, abs, and pecs. I also offer great massage therapy :-)~
Hope everybody had a great Christmas. Ours was a little subdued due to my father-in-law being in the general in the oncology ward. My wife and her two sisiters, their families and I took him down to the cafeteria for a change of scenery. Seeing his grandsons was the first smile he has had in a while.
@Mr Red – The Crappy Tire moved to Innis rd over a year ago. It is huge, one of only two that acually has a grocery section. It is two doors down from Lowes, Walmart is in between them.
