@Caribbeangirl: We were supposed to be notified yesterday if we had won anything but with Darren leaving my guess is that the draw never got done (it might have been the last straw if Darren couldnt get the information out of the system to conduct the draw)
@Mr. Red, I think Pete was on vacation the last 3 weeks and came back this week if I remember what I heard on the radio.
It’s too bad it has come to this. The Bear points where probably the best out there. I picked up some good stuff. I’m really glad I had used up alot of my points before the change.
You would hope that Virgin comes to the table on this matter. I would be really pissed if I had saved up tons of points for this.
@Mr. ABC: Well I thought that they would have launched a great program based on my discussions with Darren but website problems and other crap. I didnt win anything but it was fun collecting the points.
Oh well have to see what the new promotions person is like.
The promotions are now going to be overseen by the Promo Director who oversees Astral’s French stations in Gatineau so next week we can all start by emailing him and finding out what is going on.

Pete Travers, Program Director and Darren Stevens are both no longer working at Virgin Radio.
