Happy Hump Day and love to all.
My condoleances to friends who lost friends recently.
To those not working, keep your hopes up.
For those looking for summer heat and sun, it will come.
Crank it up, folks.
G’day
Just wanted to wish a happy Shannon Tweed Day to all the Chez Nation members.. Great shows at Bluesfest last night but on the Subway Stage I would have opened with The Zombies, then Spencer Davis Group and closed with The Yardbirds as I think they were the best of all.
For those going tonight, before KISS, check out LeE HARVeY OsMOND @ the Hard Rock Cafe Stage at 8 pm.
@ Mr. Red – nice chatting with ya last night.
Last I heard, KISS was close to being sold out. As hard as it can be to imagine, because it has yet to happen in the history of Bluesfest, shows can indeed be sold out. After all, while the space it occupies may be large, it is not infinite and they do have to follow both fire and security/policing protocol.

Check with http://www.CapitalTickets.ca for availability

The first time I saw KISS was @ the old Halifax Forum about 1976ish. They were playing in the Zamboni end and I was sitting in the opposite end of the rink. They lit up this huge pyro and you could feel the wave of heat where I was sitting. I swear had the Fire Marshall been there, he would of had heart palpitations.
Ha Mr. Red, I saw KISS around the same time @ the Civic Center, we were on the floor right in front of the stage, I still have a piece of Gene Simmons “bloody” towel and a bunch of the KISS confetti that they spilled from the revolving drums above the stage

I’d love to, Honey. Instead, I played a huge game of croquet on a regulation sized field in our own backyard with a 40oz of Bacardi and the sounds of insects and silence.
I sure love living in the country (eh, pharmerphil?).
I did play Chez, though, of course, with their Kiss programme.
Whew!
(Croquet is only fun when intoxicated and on a regulation sized field (it’s huge). I think I lost…
