    Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a checkup, the doctor tells them that they’re physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember ..

    Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. ‘Want anything while I’m in the kitchen?’ he asks.

    ‘Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?’

    ‘Sure..’

    ‘Don’t you think you should write it down so you can remember it?’ she asks.

    ‘No, I can remember it.’

    ‘Well, I’d like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so as not to forget it?’

    He says, ‘I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries.’

    ‘I’d also like whipped cream. I’m certain you’ll forget that, write it down?’ she asks.

    Irritated, he says, ‘I don’t need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream – I got it, for goodness sake!’

    Then he toddles into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, The old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs.. She stares at the plate for a moment.

    ‘Where’s my toast ?’

    Morning. I need help with something for a job selection process.
    I need some crash course pointers and links to help me prepare a PPT presentation of how I would coordinate a fake scenario project. I’m not a coordinator myself, but anyway, they seem to be interested in organisation abilities.

    A client wants to design a cross-media project XYZ…
    Where do you start, what do you do? Create a PowerPoint presentation in which you:
    - describe from concept, through production, to final delivery, the creative concept and overall strategy
    - tasks that you would complete in order to accomplish your responsibilities as the designer on this project (addressing each medium)
    - include details and considerations you deem important in regards to file preparation and production/construction of the following media:
    o print
    o web
    o new media (audio, video, animation, etc)
    - detail the process and workflow from conception to final product(s)
    - identify and describe key functional elements of the products

    I have like 5 pages long description with test and scoring junk. It’s like, it’s not even a coordinator job. I can do a max of 20 ppt pages. It’s crazy. It’s disgusting.

    we were booked on a cruise for the 2nd last week of June [family wedding] but the bride-to-be was jilted just weeks before … it was def crap timing for a cruise & we lost a lot of $ for the last min cancellations of hotel, airfare, cruise.
